The Applications forms have to be filled out carefully to allow a fair appraisal at the Selection step. (BUSAC Fund is a challenge Fund! Only the top ranked Actions are funded.)
Sample Packages are available at the BUSAC Fund office and the BUSAC Information Points (BIPs) located throughout the country, at any time during the "Call for Applications".
The Applicant should provide clear accurate information about its project, to describe it accurately against the various important aspects: resources involved, effectiveness, relevance, impact, budget, etc.
Applicants are encouraged to use Service Providers to complement their own expertise necessary for the intended Action. This input by the service providers may enhance the quality and efficiency of the Action design, application and/or implementation.
After completion, 2 signed hard copies and a soft copy on a diskette / CD should be delivered (by mail or hand-delivered) to BUSAC Fund within the advertised deadlines, to be considered.
Every Application received will be appraised by Evaluators against a transparent set of criteria (refer to the "Application guidelines" which you can download here). These guidelines are a part of the Application package.
A facility called "Outreach Facility" is set aside help the small, new or weak Associations to access the Fund.
