What is BSPS
BSPS is the over $30 million USD program funded by DANIDA the official Development Aid Organization of Denmark, to support the effort toward the "Golden age of Business", in link with the Ghana Poverty Reduction Strategy (GPRS).

BSPS stands for Business Sector Program Support.

The BSPS comprises four components, namely:

  • Legal and Judicial Reform;
  • Strengthening the Culture for Business;
  • Business Support Instruments to Small & Medium Scale Enterprises (SME's);
  • Better Access to Markets.


BSPS started in 2003 and will be active until 2008.

Other Donors have support programmes addressing Private Sector concerns in Ghana.
