- The constraint you would like to alleviate, the need your Action should address: Copyrights management in Ghana is weak, although a law exist (not fully enforced). Artists find it very difficult to receive the fair remuneration for their songs and artworks. Sharing on a fair basis with the producers, radio, etc.(not to mention the pirates) is not easy. It may lead the Ghanaian artists to stop creating or going abroad.
- The output, the final result of the action you would like to undertake: A law and regulation system refined and modernized, to become easily enforceable. A related Authority that has the means to do so.
- What you intend to do, to achieve that result(s) ( = your Implementation Plan): Consult with the stakeholders and sensitize them to the issue. Make proposals (technical, financial,...) and help elaborate / update the legal and regulatory framework and operating arrangement.
- The means of your own organization, its experience and capacity to lead it to success.
- Explain here the kind of support or expertise are you looking for. And why, if relevant: to design/ implement that Action, to improve it, to enlarge it, to broaden it by gathering other Groups around your idea, etc.
Part of the input could come from foreign countries, to take advantage of their experiences: we are looking for such useful additional experience and expertise from other countries.
