It is used by BUSAC Fund Management to proactively support the groups and associations specifically address Gender issues and other cross-cutting issues (HIV/ AIDS, environment, sustainable and democratic governance, child labour,...).
It allows the BUSAC Fund to wholly (100%) fund the action for small and weak associations who may not be in a position to meet the 10% cost of the action.
Actions amounting to less than ¢10,000 (Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis) are eligible to that concession. This is based on the assumption that a small Applicant may not have the management capacity to undertake a large Action.
The Outreach Facility also finances other Actions, to enable small groups or associationsl or the underprivileged people to access BUSAC Fund.
