How would your Advocacy Actions be selected and implemented?
Every Application received (see the conditions of the Call for Applications) is appraised against a transparent set of criteria.
The BUSAC Board reviews the top ranked projects and takes decision to finance them within the limit of the budget of the "Call for Applications". The decision to fund is taken within 6 weeks in order to stay in line with the Private Sector pace and mind set.
Possible adjustments may be requested to improve the quality of the Action.
They will be discussed with the Applicants at the time BUSAC Fund undertakes the Due Diligence to ensure that the Applicant has the management capacity to undertake the proposed Action, as well as the capacity to provide financial reports.
Disbursement of the Grant is made by installments, against the implementation of the actions and approval of reports provided by the grantee and external monitor appointed by the BUSAC Fund. Monitors are approved to Monitor all activities and expenses incurred during the implementation of the action.
It is made against approved reports to be provided by the Applicant and external Monitor appointed by BUSAC Fund, who monitors all activities and expenses through the Action’s implementation period.
Every action will be audited by an independent Auditor appointed by BUSAC Fund.
