Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry is an independent organisation serving and promoting the commercial and industrial interest of small and large companies in Ghana. The chamber in its present form was established on the 8th of November 1961 under an Act of Parliament (Executive Instrument No. 196). The chamber serves the local business community with three core activities that are its founding principles. These are as follows:Information from these activities have informed GNCCI discussions with the government institutions like the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), CEPS, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Ministry of Trade and Industry and PSI & PSD and officials in the Office of the President, on GNCCI’s advocacy initiative of reducing the cost of doing business in Ghana, which has received BUSAC funding.
